High Entropy Alloys (HEAs) represent a highly active research area in materials science because they are very promising for high temperature applications. My project focuses on a specialized form of HEAs, Refractory High Entropy Alloys (RHEAs). In collaboration with an industry partner, Plansee SE, we aim to develop the first commercially available RHEA. My role is to utilize atomistic simulations and machine learning methods to identify the most promising material systems for subsequent manufacturing.
